This past Thanksgiving, Anita and CityNet OC team got together and sorted out many items of clothing for the Santa Ana homeless shelter. 
​It was a huge success with many bundles distributed!
Anita is currently working for Amnesty International's
Los Angeles Canvassing division.
She and her teammates do a lot of research staying up-to-date on the international refugee crisis, and then hit the streets to provide that information to the public and have them join the fight for civilian justice. 
Anita had such a blast interning at University Park Elementary School's Child Development Center. She loved teaching kids (K-5th grade) about the world at large by incorporating theatre/art games into science classes and community projects! 
Anita's 2017 New Year's Resolution was to actively champion a cause very close to her heart: Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) in underserved regions.
     She is proud to announce that she has become a Team Leader in Irvine, California's Days for Girls Initiative. She will be organizing the first ever Menstrual Hygiene Day in Southern California, to bring MHM awareness and funds for women and girls.
Over thanksgiving​, Anita and many other volunteers joined in Santa Ana to feed the homeless.
    Many bellies became happy, and also many hearts. Join Gobble Gobble Give's ​mission to have the less fortunate still enjoy a fulfilling Thanksgiving! 
For her 21st Birthday, Anita joined Malala in supporting girls' rights to education all around the world, and helped raise 353 dollars for the Malala Fund! This is still an ongoing project for Anita and she plans to donate every year.
